Limitation of age for Uttarakhand RTE 25 Admission 2024-25
The Uttarakhand RTE 2024-25 admission age criteria for Pre-KG, LKG, UKG, and Class-1 mandate specific age requirements based on the child’s date of birth. To be eligible for admission in the Pre-Primary classes (Nursery, LKG, UKG) and Class 01, children must meet the following age criteria:
- Nursery (Pre-Primary): Children should have completed 3 years by 31st March 2024 with a date of birth falling between 1st April 2020 and 31st March 2021.
- LKG (Pre-Primary): Children should have completed 4 years by 31st March 2024 with a date of birth falling between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2020.
- UKG (Pre-Primary): Children should have completed 5 years by 31st March 2024 with a date of birth falling between 1st April 2018 and 31st March 2019.
- Class 01: Children should have attained the age of 6 years by 31st March 2024 with a date of birth falling between 1st April 2017 and 31st March 2018.
The online application registration for students will be open from 1st April 2024 to 21st April 2024. Please be advised that students will be placed in the lowest grade available at the school.
How to Apply Uttarakhand RTE 25 Admission 2024-25

Parents are encouraged to visit the official website located at www.rteonline.uk.gov.in. Upon arrival at the website, proceed to select the registration option and then proceed with student registration.
Thoroughly complete the registration form with precise and up-to-date information. Upon completion, a registration number will be issued to the mobile number provided in the online form. Ensure that all details are accurately entered before advancing by clicking on the “Save and Next” button.
After confirming that all information is accurately inputted, finalize the process by clicking on the “Submit” button. Following the online application submission, parents are required to submit a copy of the application form alongside two copies of necessary documents (e.g., birth certificate, residence certificate, income certificate/caste certificate, etc.) to the Block Education Officer’s office.
Please note that only applicants whose documentation has been verified by the Block Education Officer will be considered in the lottery selection process. The lottery for verified applicants is scheduled for April 30, 2024. Notifications regarding selection will be sent to the registered mobile numbers of chosen students.
Subsequently, parents of selected students must present copies of the necessary documents at the designated school for the admission process. The deadline for submitting the application form and essential documents to the Block Education Officer’s office is April 23, 2024.
