TN TASMAC Holidays List 2024 for Lok Sabha Election
The TASMAC Holidays in Tamil Nadu for 2024 includes the Tamil Nadu TASMAC Election Holidays List coinciding with the Parliamentary General Election scheduled from the 17th to the 19th of April 2024 for voting in the Chennai District. All TASMAC Liquor Retail Stores and licensed bars associated with clubs are required to remain closed during this period. Additionally, this closure will continue until the evening of the 19th of April, with the following day, the 4th of June 2024, designated as the counting of votes day.
TN TASMAC Shops Closed on 21st April and 1st May 2024
On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti Day on April 21, 2024 (Sunday) and May Day on May 1, 2024 (Wednesday), a directive has been issued to shut down all Tasmac liquor retail outlets and related establishments in Chennai district. This measure is intended to demonstrate reverence for these important days and encourage a spirit of moderation and observance among the community.
TN TASMAC Shops Closed on 24-26 May 2024
As the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in Kerala State on April 26, 2024, a directive has been issued that TN TASMAC liquor shops within a 5 km radius of the Kerala State border, including specific locations such as Thalur, Ayyangolli, Nambiargunnu, Erumadu, and Samudra Regency FL3 Bar Hotel Erumadu in Pandalur, will not be permitted to sell liquor from 10:00 am on April 24, 2024, until midnight on April 26, 2024. In compliance with this regulation, all TN TASMAC retail shops and hotel bars in the designated areas will be mandated to remain closed during this period.
TN TASMAC Shops and Bars Closed on 4th June 2024
Prior to the Parliamentary General Election in Chennai District scheduled for May 2024, the government has issued a requirement for the temporary closure of all TASMAC liquor retail stores and licensed bars, including those associated with clubs. This regulation will be enforced from the evening preceding the election day until the vote-counting day on June 4, 2024.
