HSRP Number Plate Rajasthan 2024: In a bid to bolster vehicle safety and reinforce adherence to traffic regulations, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, under the Government of India, released notifications GSR 1162(E) on the 4th of December 2018 and SO 6052 on the 6th of December 2018. These mandates introduced High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) and color-coded stickers as compulsory measures.
In line with these directives, the State Government of Rajasthan issued order number 21063 on the 21st of September 2023, detailing the prescribed procedure for affixing HSRP and color-coded stickers on vehicles registered prior to the 1st of April 2019. HSRP Number Plate Rajasthan 2024: Fitment Procedure
The High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) fitting process comprises several essential elements. Initially, the fitting involves attaching the HSRP itself, a specialized plate with robust security features like a chromium-based hologram and a unique laser-branded ID number. This plate is firmly installed on the vehicle using snap locks that cannot be removed or reused. Moreover, the HSRP fitting also encompasses affixing a third registration plate in the form of color-coded stickers.
These stickers, featuring self-destructive chromium-based holograms, are positioned on the inner left-hand side of the vehicle’s windshield. The colors of these stickers differ based on the fuel type used by the vehicle, with orange backgrounds for diesel vehicles, light blue for petrol and CNG vehicles, and grey for vehicles using alternative fuels. Additionally, the third plate includes a 1 cm green strip to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulations.

Vehicle owners in Rajasthan whose vehicles were registered before April 1, 2019, are required to attach the High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) by specific deadlines based on the last digit of their registration number. Those with digits 3 or 4 have until March 31, 2024, while vehicles ending with 5 or 6 must comply by April 30, 2024. Owners of vehicles ending with 7 or 8 have until May 31, 2024, and for those ending with 9 or 0, the deadline is June 30, 2024. It is crucial for vehicle owners to meet these deadlines in order to follow the regulations pertaining to HSRP.

The High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) numbers for vehicles in Rajasthan for the year 2024 have been updated with the rate list. The rates, inclusive of GST, fitment, and convenience charges, are as follows:

- Three-Wheelers fall under the category of Rs 470.00.
- Four-Wheelers, specifically Light Motor Vehicles (LMV), have a maximum rate of Rs 695.00.
- Medium & Heavy Motor Vehicles are priced at Rs 730.00.
- Tractors and Agriculture Equipments are categorized at Rs 495.00.
